Sparring
In dedicated sparring interactions vis-à-vis yourselves I’d apply my expertise and experience in different areas of management (competitive analysis, sales, technology, supply chains, etc.) in non-judgmental but thought-provoking manner, to enable you critically evaluate your current state of affairs in broader perspective.
While setting off in “unchartered waters”, respectively embarking upon new tasks in predominantly new enterprise ecosystems, our interactions would widen the spectrum of potential strategic initiatives conceived by you thereby rendering you more effective in making sovereign choices.
When managements get bogged down to firefighting, day-to-day pressures take toll on strategies which degenerate into mere extrapolations of existing policies. External help in form of sparring by an experienced person who is able to put herself in your shoes then becomes a blessing, her prolific outlook literally turns out to be indispensable.
I’d prompt your “musings” on the demerits of your own decisions and the risks involved there-in. My critical reasoning will preclude your concerns about e.g., how intensely had you scrutinized your weaknesses and competitive threats, else how thoroughly had you factored-in your endeavour’s Critical Success Factors. My contrarian arguments “devil’s advocacy” will help you circumvent your blind spots and recognise the unseen, my crucial feedback would compel you to sit back, take a deep breath and ease the pressure, and calmly reflect on possible consequences of your own decisions. My adept contribution in form of coach-and-mentor’s recommendations will help you take the most “conscious” decisions. Thereby, I too would learn from you!
Having sufficiently “churned” your mind for best ideas, you yourself would be convinced of your solutions’ feasibility. Such deliberations would have cleared your doubts and fears, with every exercise you’d become more resilient.
“Extreme” thinking would definitely strengthen your inner convictions, thereby enhancing your self-confidence, élan and agility. Communicating with a stronger knowledge base will give your superiors and peers enhanced sense of security. On the top of your team spirit, sparring will improve your charisma and leadership skills.
